Welcome! Back in the studio again, at work on a painting I think I will call "Netscape." It's a fishing trawler from the stern (the business end of a fishing boat and often the more interesting view), and the teal-colored net will feature prominently in the painting. At least that's the plan.

I will take pictures at several stages, so you can watch the progress here.

This is a rough pencil sketch, basically a composition and value plan--my essential tool for developing the idea for almost every painting that I create.
