Still trying to find a title for this painting of a battered gillnetter, up for sale at a local dock. The "signs of service" that this old fishing boat bears drew me to create this painting. By the way, only slightly related, I saw a motto on a fisherman's website recently that I enjoyed: "Jesus was a gillnetter." Not only was he but so were many of his friends!
