Very happy to have "Dappled Cottage" accepted for the Annual Juried Exhibit of the Jasper Art Center in southern Indiana!



This seaside cottage enveloped at noonday in cypress shadows was a challenging painting for me to do technically. But I found the subject so compelling with its amazing life energy that I had to try.



Family ties to Jasper include the lifelong residence there of my cousin Phil Buecher. A milestone: this is my first art work to be hung publicly in Indiana, place of my birth and early life.
