Uniquely constructed, this local boat continues to intrigue me after a couple years of seeing and sketching it.

Here I have begun by placing it before an old salmon cannery. It still needs something. I plan to post several stages in the painting process here so you can watch a painting unfold. This painting will be part of the new, small-format series I began at the beginning of 2007.
