Greetings!

My silence here for a few days means the usual: I have been at work in the studio creating a new painting. Here is "Salmon Troller", based on a fishing boat seen at Half Moon Bay's Princeton harbor late last year, and one I had not seen before, called the "Henriette".

I departed from realism with my color choices. Something about the drawing I made suggested new colors to me with lots of vibrance and warmth.
