Yesterday's quick study of the creek that flows behind my son's house in eastern Indiana.  Such tree-lined creeks are a familiar scene in Indiana, where I grew up.

Today while I ponder the next picture to pursue, I am also working on the next edition of my art newsletter, WATERCOLOR DELIGHTS. It goes out by snail mail every two months. This issue will include "Once Upon a Time," a brief exploration of the historic old San Francisco fishing boats that have inspired me for seven years. If you would like to receive a copy, just pass on your address to me by email.

I would be very interested in receiving your next issue of your art newsletter which will include the historic old fishing boats. I live in a fishing village (which is turning into a city escape for the wealthy)and also see the sustainable fishing methods being ridden roughshod over by large-boat fleets. Being a retired crayfisher I see the devastating change to the survival chances of fish species here in my country, New Zealand.
