Welcome to my studio! Here is "Noyo Duo" in its final version. I used an extra amount of texturizing for this painting: wiping back washes with plastic edge, brush, and sharp edge in a number of places; adding white crayon "resist" in several areas; and applying even more watercolor pigment pencil than usual. In other words, I wrestled this angel/demon to the ground!  The composition was designed as an interlocking group of wedges, facing in various directions although one basic orientation and proportion is dominant.  It is 14 x 20  watercolor using my usual palette of transparent pigments like indanthrene blue, quinacridone red, permanent sap green, and deep winsor yellow.
