Welcome! Yes, I forgot to use the camera during a few steps in reaching this stage. (Art making can absorb all one's attention for a while in spite of oneself.) I have been laying down large areas of dark and medium values, negative-painting around the boats' hulls and pilothouses.  Hope to finish in the next day or two. Carol
