Welcome! The radiance of energy and light I saw/felt in this fishing boat at Pillar Point Harbor over two years ago was quite a challenge to interpret as a painting. It has been in process ever since, but just today I believe that it is finished! The sky that day was also thrilling in that the fog was lifting and sun was beginning to drench the air and everything below with its brilliance. . . almost, not quite, on its way. It happens a lot along the coast--maybe you've seen it yourself. While the painting seems rather static for me, that stability or resistance was central to what I wanted to convey.
